A service for 6 (24 pieces total) of stunning antique circa early 1900s silver plated flatware, made by Reed and Barton for the San Marcos hotel in Santa Barbara California. The hotel opened in 1908 and was unfortunately short-lived as it was destroyed in a 1925 earthquake. The spoons and forks are all silver plate, knives with silver plated handles and steel blades. Excellent condition, no damage. There is very minor tarnish that will polish beautifully if desired with the exception of some light wear on a couple of the fork tines. Every piece is marked on the back of the handle "San Marcos"
