A massive, beautiful antique circa mid-late 1800s French copper pot with iron handle from the iconic Ritz hotel in Paris, completely restored with new hand applied tin. In excellent condition, some signs of age and use from a commercial kitchen, small marks and bumps but no dents. It sits flat with excellent symmetry. There is an old repair to the base, the type of inelegant repair you would see from a commercial kitchen that needed the piece to still be usable but didn’t care much about aesthetics. This piece is still watertight and perfectly usable.

Stamped with the mark of Gaillard of Paris, it is well travelled and carries a Ritz Hotel Paris mark and also a Hopital mark.  

This massive and heavy, hotel-weight piece is almost 22 pounds (!!) with 3mm+ thickness at upper rim (thicker at the base). Measures 13.75” across with a depth of slightly under 6.25” By nearly 25” long including the handle!
