A beautiful and rare antique circa 1910-20s heavy silver plated ice water pitcher from the Hotel Brewster In Boston Massachusetts! In excellent antique condition, it does have some light surface marks, as frequently seen in old hotel silver that was used daily. No large dents, bumps or damage though, and it has polished up beautifully! The hotel crest is engraved on the front along with their motto, “Non sufficit orbis” which translates to “Not even the world is enough.” The hotel name is marked on the base (though it has been scratched through and is very difficult to make out) along with Reed and Barton makers marks. This heavy silver plated pitcher weighs nearly 4 pounds empty!
