A beautiful antique circa early 1900s silver plated vase from the restaurants Rectors and Colony Inn in New York City! In excellent condition, no large dents or damage, though there are a few small surface marks and bumps. Measures approximately 7 inches tall.

The base was originally marked for Rectors, which was struck through when Rectors closed and auctioned off their fixtures. Rector’s was the grandest of the Broadway “Lobster Palaces” and is one of the most important restaurants in American social history. Then the vase was marked for the Colony Inn, a restaurant on Flatbush avenue in Brooklyn that closed during prohibition and was torn down in 1923. A unique piece of NYC restaurant history!
