A stunning and rare antique circa early 1900s heavy silver plated serving bowl from Rector’s in New York City! Rector’s was the grandest of the Broadway “Lobster Palaces” and is one of the most important restaurants in American social history.

In excellent condition, no dents or damage, just the usual signs of use you would expect from old restaurant silver that was used daily. It has polished beautifully with moderate plate wear inside as shown in the photos. Made by Reed & Barton and marked on the base “Rectors” with an applied logo on the front.
