A rarely seen antique circa late 1800s to very early 1900s silver plated platter dome/cover from the iconic The Plaza hotel in New York City! In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage, just lots of fine surface scratches and marks from over 100 years of polishing and use. It has polished up beautifully on the outside with one small spot of wear through to the copper underneath on one end, and some discoloration & wear on the inside. Made by L. Barth & Son of New York, marked with “The Plaza” inside.

Measures 13.75” by just under 10” wide by 7.75” tall including handle, fits a 14” oval platter.
