A stunning and rare antique circa early 1900s heavy silver plate and glass water pitcher from Rector’s in New York City! Rector’s was the grandest of the Broadway “Lobster Palaces” and is one of the most important restaurants in American social history.
In excellent condition, no dents or damage to the silver frame and no cracks or chips to the glass, just the usual signs of use you would expect from old restaurant silver that was used daily. Made by R. Wallace and marked on the base “Rector's”
Measures approximately 9" tall by 5.5".
