A stunning antique circa late 1800s to very early 1900s copper lidded casserole or daubiere pan with new hand applied tin lining and riveted bronze handles, made by Gaillard!

This is a beautiful piece, made to last generations. A new tin lining was hand applied in our studio, so it is ready to use again! There are plenty of small marks and bumps to the outside, especially to the edge of the lid, as to be expected from a piece that was used in a commercial environment for decades. The handles are sturdy and securely connected. The pot sits flat without rocking. The pan has been stamped for J. Gaillard Paris, the body and lid have also been stamped with the logo for the Grand Hôtel de Vittel.

Measures approximately 12" across including handles, 9" not including handles, by 6" wide, by 3.75" deep not including lid. Weighs approximately 3 pounds 8 ounces with a wall thickness of 1.8-2mm.
