A rare and beautiful antique circa late 1800s enamel over iron sign for the Villa Eugenie (which later became the Hotel du Palais) in Biarritz, France. In good condition, plenty of enamel wear around the edges, but no large patches of discoloration of missing enamel in the center. The blue and white are still bright, with only some slight fading. Plenty of small surface scratches and signs of age from decades of use outdoors.
