A stunning antique heavy copper pan with new hand applied tin lining and a riveted iron handle, made by Jacquotot for the famed restaurant Prunier in Paris and London!
This is a beautiful handcrafted piece, made to last generations. The copper is approximately 2.2-2.7mm thick. A new tin lining was hand applied and it has been professionally polished, so it is ready to use again! There are plenty of marks and bumps to the outside, as to be expected from a piece that was used in a commercial environment for decades. The iron handle is sturdy and well-connected, the pan is structurally sound and sits flat despite the bumps.
Measures approximately 11.5” across not including handle, about 22” long including handle, by 6” deep. Weighs a bit over 12 pounds! Stamped "J. Jacquotot, 77 Rue Damesme, Paris;" "Prunier," and the letter "T."
