A beautiful antique circa early 1900s heavy Copper splayed sauté with iron handle and tin lining, made by Duparquet for the iconic Ritz Carlton hotel in New York City! In excellent antique condition, this was used daily in the service of a luxury hotel, so it shows many signs of use and age, but no damage or issues that would affect the usability. The handle rivets are all nice and tight. This piece has been professionally restored, polished and retinned. Stamped “Waldorf Astoria” on one side. The capacity is approximately 5 quarts. Nice, thick hotel-quality walls approx. 3mm at the rim and thicker at the base. Weighs a bit over 7 pounds empty!
Measures 12.25 inches long along the handle, 10 inches wide across the top of the pot and 8 inches across the base (combined pot & handle length is 22.25 inches) by 3.75 inches tall.
