A rare antique circa 1909 silver plated souvenir cream or milk pitcher from The Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition, held in Seattle, Washington. The pitcher features an applied seal of the city of Seattle, and the year of the exposition. The Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (AYPE) was a world’s fair held in Seattle to promote the region’s growth and prosperity from the 1897 Klondike Gold Rush, and the city’s role as a major port city on the Pacific Coast.
In excellent condition, no large dents or damage, just the usual small bumps, marks and signs of use you would expect. It has polished up very nicely with a couple spots of wear to the silver plating. This 1 pint pitcher measures approximately 5 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide from spout to handle.
