A beautiful and rare vintage circa 1920-30s silver plated match holder from the famed Royal Albion Hotel in Brighton, England! This match holder would have originally had striker paper in the two inserts on the sides of the match cup, when I found it the original paper was long gone so I have replaced it with new striker paper but have not glued or otherwise cemented it in place in case the new owner would like to remove it and replace it with a different color/style paper. In excellent condition, no damage or dents, only small signs of wear/use. It has polished up beautifully with small spots of wear through the silver plating around/near the engraved hotel name. Measures approximately 4.5 inches wide across the base by 3.5 inches tall.
