A beautiful vintage circa 1947 heavy silver plated domed platter cover from a Pennsylvania Railroad dining car. In excellent condition, small marks, bumps, and signs of use but no large dents or damage. It has mild tarnish but there doesn't appear to be any wear through of the silver plating, so it will polish up beautifully if desired on the outside, some of the dark spots on the inside may not polish up.

made to fit an 11 inch oval platter, the dome measures approximately 10.5 inches long by 7 inches wide by 2.75 inches tall.
