A stunning and rare antique circa 1872 1880s heavy silver plated game or meat serving terrain, with beautifully hand carved wooden handles made to mimic boar tusks. This unique, one of a kind piece has its original ironstone liner is still present! All the handles are still firmly attached, with a beautiful patina to the wood and no cracks or damage. The silver plating has mild tarnish that will polish up beautifully if desired with a few small spots of where through to the brassy metal underneath, mainly on the lid around the handle.
