A beautiful and ultra rare antique circa 1910-20s heavy silver plated water pitcher from The Hotel Statler! This incredible pitcher is made to be carried on the arm of a waiter and tilted from the base, there is a pouring spout on either side. It’s also large enough to serve as a champagne bucket for even the largest bottles of champagne! Excellent condition, no big issues or damage, though there are some small surface marks where the handle grazes the body of the pitcher and shallow dents at the base on either side where the heavy handle hits the body of the pitcher if it’s allowed to carelessly fall down. It has polished up beautifully on the outside with wear through to the copper underneath on the inside. Marked on the bottom as made by Reed & Barton, this piece pre-dates they’re dating system introduced in 1928.
Measures 22" tall with the handle up, nearly 16" tall with the handle down, by approximately 12” wide. This substantial piece weighs nearly 6 pounds empty!
