A stunning antique circa 1890s to very early 1900s heavy copper butter pot with tin lining and a riveted iron handle, made by Dehillerin for a hotel or restaurant named “Coquelin”
This is a beautiful handcrafted piece, made to last generations. The copper is very heavy, at the rim it is around 2.2-2.6mm. There are plenty of marks and bumps to the outside, as to be expected from a piece that was used in a commercial environment for decades. The iron handle is sturdy and well-connected. The pan has been polished and re-tinned and is ready for use!
Measures a bit under 4 inches across the top not including handle, 8 inches in length including the handle, by 5 inches deep. This pot weighs nearly 2 pounds empty, amazing for a pot of this small size!
