An antique circa 1883 horn whisky/spirit cup with sterling silver rim and cartouche. The sterling silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham assayed in 1883. Excellent condition, no damage to the horn though there is a small bubble/defect in the horn on the inside below the engraved shield on the front, just a few small bumps and signs of age/use to the sterling. The sterling is engraved to serve as a third place prize for an 880 yard dash in 1886.

This little cup measures nearly 2.75 inches tall.
