A beautiful and rare matched pair of antique circa early 1900s cast bronze candlesticks made for Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits. Wagons-Lits was known for the finest railroad dining & sleeping cars, but most famously for being the creator and operator of the Orient Express luxury passenger train.
In excellent condition, no large dents or damage, just lots of the usual small marks and signs of use you would expect from old railroad objects that were used daily. The text around the base reads “Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits”. Measures approximately 4.25” tall.
