A stunning and rare antique circa 1931 heavy silver plated ice water pitcher from the Hotel Saint Netherland Plaza, in Cincinnati, Ohio. At 24 inches tall this is by far the largest hotel water pitcher we’ve ever come across! In great antique condition, it does have lots of light surface marks and dings/dents, as frequently seen in old hotel silver that was used daily. No old repairs or damage though, and it has polished up beautifully! The hotel crest is engraved on the front and back, and the hotel initials are marked on the base along with Reed and Barton makers marks. This heavy silver plated pitcher weighs over 10 pounds empty!
