A beautiful antique circa 1890-1916 solid copper roasting pan with hinged iron handles and tin lining, made by Duparquet, Huot & Moneuse of NYC. Made from very thick 2.1-2.5 mm copper, with beautiful dovetail construction. In amazing condition for its age, no major dents or damage, just lots and lots of small marks, bumps & dings, and signs of use you would expect from a piece of kitchenware that is 100+ years old. The handles are still firmly attached. It was clearly retinned recently, the tin is slightly tarnished but completely intact, and the pan has been professionally polished and is ready for use! Stamped to one side “D H & M. CO. 43 & 45 WOOSTER ST. N.Y.“ This impressively sized piece measures approximately 22.25 inches long (23.5 including handles) by 20.25 inches wide by 4 inches deep, and weighs a bit over 17 pounds empty!
