A stunning and rare antique circa 1880s Copper pot with iron handle and tin lining from Washington DC coppersmith Jacob Burkhart! Beautifully made with dovetail construction and three strong copper rivets attaching an iron handle, the body is marked on one side with the wording “ J. BURKHART WASH D.C. ” In amazing condition for its age, no dents or damage, it sits flat and the handle is still sturdily attached, only a few small dings on the bottom and routine scratches customary for all antique cookware. It has been polished and newly tinned, and is ready for use! 

Measures approximately 10.5” diameter without iron handle; 21.5” long with iron handle by 6.75” deep; and it weighs 7 1/2 pounds empty!
