A wonderful vintage circa 1930s copper and nickel lidded roaster or braiser made by Legion Utensils for the iconic Plaza hotel in New York City!
Beautifully made, in great condition for its age, lots of small surface marks and scratches to the copper but no large dents or damage, it sits flat. The dish has been polished inside and out; the nickel lining is in excellent condition with only minor surface scratches and utensil marks. There is an old repair to one handle, but it is very sturdy and firmly attached. This big roaster measures approximately 20” long across the handles by 11 ” wide (16" x 10" interior measurements) by 5.5” deep and weighs an impressive 8+ pounds.
