A lovely vintage circa 1928 heavy silver plated ice bucket from the historic New York Athletic Club in New York City! The New York athletic club is a private social and sports club. Founded in 1868, it is still active in New York, and membership is by invitation only.

In great condition, no major dents or damage, though there are some small dings and bumps. There is moderate tarnish, it will polish up very nicely if desired with some small spots of wear discoloration. There is quite a bit of patina and discoloration inside, that will brighten up a bit too if desired, but there is quite a bit of where through the silver plating in the very bottom from standing water. Made by Reed & Barton, marked on the front with their iconic logo, on the base with the club name and the date stamp for 1928.
