A lovely antique circa 1890-1900 English oak whiskey barrel decanter set on stand, each mounted with silver plate band and fixtures with matching buckets. In fantastic condition for their age, there is some age related shrinkage to the wood, but no damage. The silver is without any dents, damage or signs of old repairs. There is a significant patina to the silver, it will polish up very nicely if desired, with some minor wear to the nickel silver underneath. Made by Daniel & Arter of Birmingham.
