An antique c. 1912 heavy silver plate champagne cooler/bucket from the Copley Plaza Hotel in Boston (sister hotel to the Plaza in NYC) with handle and attached underplate!

This piece is in excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage but there are lots of the little bumps and marks that you would expect from old hotel silver. Moderate tarnish, some minor silver loss along the raised edges but it should polish up beautifully. The iconic Plaza logo is marked on both sides, marked underneath as made by Gorham for Copley Plaza in 1912. This bucket is large enough for a few bottles of wine and even the largest bottle of champagne.

Measures approximately 15 inches tall with handle up by 11 inches wide at the base, the opening is 9 inches wide.
