A beautiful and seldom seen pair of antique silver plated candle wick trimming shears and tray made by Tiffany & Co. The shears have a dull blade and a little box designed to snuff out the flame and catch ash & fully burned wick trimmings. Excellent condition, just some light surface scratches from polishing and small signs of use, but no damage. Marked "Tiffany & Co." On the base of each piece, no monograms.

The candle shears measure approximately 6.5" long, the tray measures approximately 8” long by a bit over 4” wide.

Please note: the shears were designed for victorian era taper & pillar candles, so they don’t really work with modern style scented candles in glass holders. The front of the shears are too long to maneuver down into the glass.
