A beautiful antique circa 1880s Tiffany & Co silver plated teapot, once belonging to Harriet Hubbard Ayer (the first American female cosmetics mogul, writer and philanthropist). The body of this pot is covered in hand-hammered repousse decoration of flora with a dragonfly. There is a turned wooden handle, still securely attached. No dents or damage, just a bit of tarnish and discoloration inside. Some wear to the silver plating on the lid finial. Marked on the base with Tiffany & Co makers marks, and engraved with the name Harriet Hubbard Ayer with an armorial and Latin motto.

Measures 7.25” tall by 9” deep including handle, 6” wide to the top of the spout.
