A stunning antique circa 1900-1910s handmade from leather, copper and sterling silver drinking set consisting of large pitcher and 6 glasses. This set has a copper lining, with hand stitched black leather built over it and an applied sterling silver rim and cartouche on the front of each piece. The sterling silver is engraved “TC+SC” so it was probably meant as a wedding gift.
In amazing condition for its age, no dents or damage to the copper bodies or sterling aside from one small bump to the pitcher lip, just some very small marks and signs of polishing/use to the silver. The leather has no rips/tears, there’s quite a bit of age to it and lots of cracklature, but it still has a beautiful patina.
Pitcher approximately 10 inches tall, glasses 6.75 inches.
