A beautiful antique circa 1910-20s heavy silver plated serving dish on a chafing/warming stand with three oil burners from the Hotel Brewster In Boston Massachusetts! In excellent antique condition, it does have lots of light surface scratches and utensil marks, as frequently seen in old hotel silver that was used daily. No large dents, bumps or damage though, and it has polished up beautifully! The oil burners are missing their cotton wicks, but are otherwise in working condition. The hotel crest is engraved on the front of the lid along with their motto, “Non sufficit orbis” which translates to “Not even the world is enough.” The hotel name is marked on the base of each piece along with Reed and Barton makers marks. Measures approx. 11.25” wide by 10" tall with a 10" removable serving bowl.
