A lovely antique circa early 1900s heavy silver plated toast rack with domed cover from the Detroit Athletic Club! The Detroit Athletic Club was a private social and athletic club founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1887. It offers members full-service athletic facilities, pools, restaurants, ballrooms, and guest rooms. Members include business professionals and professional athletes; Ty Cobb is among the athletes to have been a member of the DAC.

In excellent condition, no damage, just one small bump to a corner of the cover and small surface scratches and signs of use you would expect from old hotel silver that was used daily. Made by Reed & Barton, marked on the side of the cover with the DAC crest.

Measures approx 4 inches tall to the top of the handle by 6 inches long by 3.75 inches wide.
