An antique circa early 1900s heavy silver plated serving bowl from The New Willard hotel in Washington DC! The New Willard, designed by New York architect Henry Janeway Hardenbergh and erected by the George A. Fuller Company, opened in 1904 and was hailed at its opening as Washington's first skyscraper. Over time it just became "The Willard" and is now the Willard InterContenintal. 

This bowl is in excellent condition, lots of small surface scratches, marks and tiny dings, but no damage or big dents. Marked on the base “New Willard” along with Reed & Barton marks.

Measures approximately 10.5" across by 6" tall. Weighs over 3 pounds empty.
