A beautiful antique circa 1920s silver plated bread serving dish/basket from the historic Hotel Granada in Brooklyn, New York. Hotel Granada opened in 1927 as one of the grandest hotels in Brooklyn, though it's grandness was short-lived and it was considered outdated by the 1960s, and became apartments in the 1970s. The building was torn down in the early 1990s.
In excellent condition for a piece that's nearly 100 years old, no dents or damage. Some light surface scratches, bumps, and small marks you’d expect from old hotel silver that was used daily. Marked with a beautiful hotel crest on the top, and the hotel name on the base.
Measures approx 10 inches long by 5.5 inches wide by 2 inches deep at the tallest point of the rim.
