These antique French tea towels are made of flax linen or hemp. They are chosen by hand, then repaired and cleaned in a workshop in Lyon. Each piece is unique or in a small series of like towels as these were originally woven and embroidered by hand, a few slight defects may appear in the weave or in the color. These signs of handcrafting and aging give them an authentic charm. 

each towel measures approximately 20 x 30“.
