A stunning antique heavy copper pan with new hand applied tin lining and a riveted iron handle, with a very rare stamp from the period in the early 1900s when Jean-Baptiste Jacquotot formed a joint venture with Dehillerin which lasted until about 1920.
This is a beautiful handcrafted piece, made to last generations. The copper is approximately 2.5mm thick. A new tin lining was hand applied and it has been professionally polished, so it is ready to use again! There are plenty of marks and bumps to the outside, as to be expected from a piece that was used in a commercial environment for decades. The iron handle has slightly movement but is sturdy and well-connected, the pan is structurally sound and sits flat despite the bumps. Ther pan is stamped on one side "DORENCE" along with the initials CG.
Measures approximately 9.5" wide by 5.75" deep x 18.5" along the handle
