An antique circa early to mid-1800s French copper daubiere roasting or braising pan with lid. The pot features dovetail or cramp seams. This antique pan has been cleaned, polished and lined with hand-applied tin. In excellent condition, small surface marks that you would expect from 150-200 year old copper cookware, small marks and dings but no damage or structural issues. There are some small old brass repairs to the lid handle, the repairs were done very well and do not affect the usability or beauty of this piece. This is a beautiful piece that really shows its history!
