This is a rare, stunning, and fine piece of Dr. Christopher Dresser designed silver plated metalware made by Hukin & Heath! A wonderful and rare antique circa late 1800s English silver plated pitcher with a unique hammered finish and horn handle. In amazing condition for its 130+ years of age, no dents or damage whatsoever, just some light wear and marks from use. There are two tiny holes up near the very top rim, hidden in the ruffles so they’re almost invisible unless you’re looking for them, which tells me this pitcher probably had a lid at one point that was removed professionally. Made by Hukin & Heath, this exact design appears in a number of books and articles about Christopher Dresser designed pieces, it is one of his classic forms.
Measures approximately 8.5” tall by 7.5” wide
