An absolutely stunning antique circa late 1800s to very early 1900s English oak and silver plate egg cup set, featuring a wood & silver plate base along with six wood & silver plated egg cups and six silver plated spoons, made by John Grinsell & Sons, Birmingham. In fantastic condition for its age, no dents or damage to the silver, just small signs of use and age, and a bit of wear to the inside of the egg cups. The wood has a beautiful antique patina, slight shrinkage due to age as you would expect from Oak that is 120+ years old, small scratches and signs of use/polishing, but no loose pieces or major cracks/damage. A beautiful set in rare form! All together measures approximately 7.5 inches to the top of the stand by 6 inches across at the base.
