A lovely little antique circa 1890-1910 English oak and silver plate individual pepper mill made by Hukin & Heath for a London and North Western Railway dining car. Excellent antique condition, very small signs of use and age but no damage. There is no silver loss on the body, but some minor discoloration on the steel grinding mechanism in the base. The front of the grinder features the iconic London and North Western Railway logo, Hukin & Heath marks along the base.
