An antique circa mid to late-1800s English copper roasting or braising pan with lid. Weighing in at more than 9 pounds, this super-sturdy piece was definitely built to last. The craftsmanship is superb! The pot features dovetail or cramp seams, and both the body and lid have sturdily attached iron handles. This antique pan has been cleaned and polished, though there is wear to the tin lining so it would need to be re-tinned if you intend to cook in it. In excellent condition, small surface marks that you would expect from 120+ year old copper cookware, small marks and dings but no damage or structural issues. A time worn Benham & Froud makers mark can be found on the base.
