A stunning antique circa early 1900s heavy copper oval roasting pan with nickel lining and handles, made by Elkington & Co for the Union Castle Steamship Line! In excellent condition for its age, no dents or damage, just a lot of the usual small surface marks and signs of use you would expect from old copper that was used in a commercial environment for decades. The nickel lining has lots of utensil marks and scratches, but no copper showing through, and the handles are sturdy and well-connected, it is structurally sound and sits flat.
Measures approximately 22” long from handle to handle, 18” long not including handles, by 12” wide, by 5” deep, with 3mm walls.
