A lovely Antique English copper pot with forged iron handle made for a London, Midland and Scottish Railway (LMS) dining car. In excellent condition for its age, no major dents or damage, just the usual bumps around the rim and small marks/signs of you see would expect from old copper that was used in a commercial environment for decades. This is a beautifully crafted, heavy Hotel weight copper piece made with dovetailed or cramp seam construction, with a solidly riveted iron handle. This part has been polished to a bright shine and professionally retinned, so it is ready for use! Stamped in new year the rim on one side “L. M. S. Dining cars Euston”

Weighs approximately 6 lbs. 5 oz., measures 1.5 mm to 1.7 mm thick at the rim, getting much thicker towards the base. Measures approximately 7.75 inches tall by 7.25 inches wide by 13.5 inches long including the handle.
