A beautiful antique circa late 1800s copper pot with fitted lid, iron handles and tin lining. Excellent antique condition, small signs of age and use in the way of small marks, bumps and surface scratches, but no dents or damage. Sits perfectly flat. Polished but was not retinned, it still retains the original tin with mild to moderate wear in the bottom and over the rivets.

Measures 8.5” wide by 5” high, 19.5“ long including handle; weighs 7 pounds empty. It is signed on the pot & lid “George F. Ott Philada,” George Ott signed pieces are quite rare. He was born in 1842 and his shop was at 207-213 Buttonwood Street in Philadelphia.
