A lovely antique circa 1920s silver plated tip or bill tray made by Christofle for a Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (aka French Line) ship. Excellent vintage condition, small bumps, marks and signs of use but no large dents or damage. There are a few dark speckles of discoloration and pitting on the back. The front of the tray features the iconic CGT logo, Christofle marks to the base. This art nouveau style CGT logo was developed for the ship FRANCE.
