A lovely antique circa 1920s silver plated serving bowl made by Christofle for a Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (aka French Line) ship. Excellent vintage condition, lots of small bumps, marks and signs of use but no large dents or damage. There is a patch of silver loss to one side and a few speckles of discoloration inside. The arms of the bowl feature the iconic CGT logo, Christofle marks to the base. This is the pattern designed for first class service on the SS City of Paris oceanliner.
This petite dish measures 10.25” long including handles by 7” wide by 2.75” tall
