A lovely little antique circa 1920s silver plated pepper mill made by Christofle for a Messageries Maritimes ship. Excellent vintage condition, small signs of use but no large dents or damage. There is no silver loss on the outside, but some rust on the steel grinding mechanism in the base. It still works beautifully! The front of the grinder features the iconic Messageries Maritimes unicorn logo, Christofle marks to the back.
