A beautiful antique circa early 1900s heavy Copper pan with iron handle and tin lining, made for the iconic Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York City! In excellent antique condition, this was used daily in the service of a luxury hotel, so it shows many signs of use and age, but no damage or issues that would affect the usability. There is one expert old brass repair along the bottom edge, you can see a close-up in the final photo. The handle rivets are all nice and tight. This piece has been professionally restored, polished and retinned. Stamped “Waldorf Astoria” on one side. The capacity is approximately 6 quarts. Nice, thick hotel-quality walls approx. 2.5mm at the rim and thicker at the base. Weighs nearly 9 pounds empty!
Measures 13.5 inches long along the handle, 11 inches wide across the top of the pot (combined pot & handle length is 24.5 inches) by 4 inches tall.
