An antique circa 1876 horn whisky/spirit cup with sterling silver rim and a sterling silver cartouche engraved with two armorial crests, probably to celebrate a marriage or joining of two families. The sterling silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham assayed in the year 1876. Excellent condition, no damage to the horn or glass, just a few small surface scratches/marks to the horn, and slight bumps and signs of age/use to the sterling.
