A lovely vintage circa 1947 heavy silver plated champagne bucket from the Detroit Athletic Club! The Detroit Athletic Club was a private social and athletic club founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1887. It offers members full-service athletic facilities, pools, restaurants, ballrooms, and guest rooms. Members include business professionals and professional athletes; Ty Cobb is among the athletes to have been a member of the DAC.

In excellent condition, no big dents or damage, just one small ding to the right front and small surface scratches and signs of use you would expect from old hotel silver that was used daily. Made by Reed & Barton, marked on the front with the DAC crest.

Measures approx 8.5 inches tall by 8.25 inches wide at the top, 9.5 inches wide across the handles. Thus heavy, hotel weight bucket weighs nearly 6 pounds empty!
