A wonderful antique English circa 1937 heavy wooden lawn bowling or bowls ball with two sterling silver plaques, one engraved for the tournament, and the other engraved with “2”, atop a wooden stand.

In good condition, the ball shows lots of age and use. No major damage to the wood, but there are lots of small surface marks and patina from its 100 years. The two engraved plaques are sterling, but are unmarked for purity (as is often the case with these trophy balls).

The ball measures approximately 4.5 inches tall, 6.75 inches tall with stand.
